We were part of a
team that built 2 of the world’s largest data warehouse. Privacy and
security were paramount from day 1 and this was a time before GDPR and
privacy laws took effect. Every country or territory had different
guidelines on handling consumer data. We designed and built secure
architecture in infrastructure, software, and business processes to make
sure users in different parts of the world only view data they have
privileges to. Even database and system administrators are not able to
see all data.
